Rowland Msiska calls for integrity in public service

ACTING Secretary to the Cabinet Dr Rowland Msiska says he strives for integrity in his operations as a public officer.

And Anti Corruption Commission director general Rosewin Wandi says the Commission will give necessary support to various organisations in order to help them institutionalise corruption prevention and integrity.

Officially opening a workshop for integrity committees organised by the ACC, Dr Msiska said if public servants developed integrity in their professional conduct, it would help reduce corruption.

“So, don’t think that you can be something else in private, you can be something else as an individual and then hope that you are going to create an environment of integrity in the public service. It is my struggle, and I must tell you. You may say, okay we know that you are not perfect. And truly I agree, I’m not perfect.
