Renard calls 24 players for Namibia friendly

Zambia National Team Coach, Herve Renard has named a 24 Man Squad for an International friendly match with Namibia set for next week.

The coach said the team will set camp in Lusaka on May 20 ahead of the game which will be played in Windhoek.

Renard is expected to name a Squad to play Lesotho and Sudan in the world Cup qualifiers soon after the Namibia game.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Communication Manager, Erick Mwanza announced the development at a media briefing in Lusaka May 17, 2013 when a number of fans and sponsors gathered at Football House to show solidarity with the Team ahead of the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Among the players named for the Lesotho friendly include; Festus Mbewe of Nkana, Bonwel Mwape of Nchanga Rangers, Davy Kaumbwa of Green Buffaloes and Mukuka Mulenga of Power Dynamos.
