President Sata ‘disappears’ after AU

Zambian leader Michael Sata has not arrived back home from Ethiopia after leaving that country at 12pm local time on Tuesday and his whereabouts had not been communicated at least by 2pm Zambian time.

Zambia News and Information Services that covered the President Sata in Ethiopia where he was attending the Africa Union 50 years commemorations that closed Sunday reported that he left that country on Tuesday. He was seen getting on a Presidential Challenger plane accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister and his Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations.

Normally the President’s programme and whereabouts are made public to the nation. This is the second time that President Sata has flown to unknown destination after attending a Summit.
