President Sata

By Greenwell Nyirenda

I was reading through His Excellency Micheal Chilufya Sata’s newly opened Facebook Page.

I was checking comments on the last updated post by His Excellence Micheal Chilufya Sata (HEMCS) where he mentioned that his Minister, Mr Yamfwa Mukanga is in the Copperbelt to officially handover 57 low cost houses and two churches in Ipusukilo and Kawama Townships, including a 1.5 kilometre access road in Mufuchani area of the city of Kitwe. I read so many positive comments except for a few.

Somebody commented :

“Has ichipuba reported back on how it all went, your Excellency?”

When I read the comment I said, ‘what?’. Then I remembered it is actually President Sata who called his Minister, Mukanga ati Ulichipuba (you are a fool).

Whilst we welcome and recommend His Excellency for joining his fellow heads state and govt to own a personal social media account. I wish to appeal to ba Shushushu (State Security spies ) to please convey this message to his Excellency that let him take both criticism and praises. This is an open forum and it won’t be good if he or those managing the account starts blocking critics.

Let the President through this forum hears the issues of the people. Let him have a glimpse what is on the grassroot. It is only when the page become liberal that he may know the truth on ground.

If constructive criticism on the Presidents on his account will be regarded as a treasonable offence then that’s something else.

I pray that it doesn’t come to that.
