President Michael Sata has advised State Counsels against criticizing government in the public.
During the swearing-in ceremony at State house on May 10,2013, President observed that criticizing the state in public does not portray a good picture to the Zambian people and the outside world at large.
The head of State said he will not hesitate to revoke the status of State counsel on lawyers who are in the habit of criticizing government in public.
He said State Counsels are supposed to advise government and not to be critics of government.
He also called on those posted to serve in the Foreign Service to make their presence known in their
respective missions of service and serve as expected.
“Represent and sale the country well in the countries you serve,” President Sata said.
