Photos of the day: Gary Nkombo on his knees before Sata

imageOpposition UPND Member of Parliament Garry Nkombo knees as he greets President Michael Sata while on the picture below the duo are captured having a light moment.

This was on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the funeral of the late Minister of Information Kennedy Sakeni. President Sata visited the funeral house in Lusaka shortly after 11 am.

Nkombo early this year was arrested, charged with murder a charge carrying death sentence when convicted in Zambia. He was detained for over two weeks until the charges were dropped.

The Mazabuka Parliamentarian was linked to have been behind the murder of a PF cadre who was killed during the bloody Livingstone by-election campaign.

Below is Barbrah Musamba Chama Mumba’s message to political cadres:

Who says away from the drama politicians are not united?

It is just you the cadres with issues and being used to do the dirty work. Wake up and demand for decency in politics. Be a better useful idiot than murdering, slandering, insulting, intimidating and antagonizing each other over people that get on in private.
