PF taught a lesson by a small boy – Mutelo

LUKULU West UPND member of parliament Misheck Mutelo says the PF has been taught a lesson by a little boy who had no resources and chitenges to dish out to the electorate.

And hordes of UPND cadres celebrating the opposition party’s electoral victory in Lukulu West on Wednesday afternoon ran amok and physically harassed a PF supporter from the district’s Mukuma area.

Meanwhile, the PF campaign team in Lukulu West says although it had lost the electoral battle, the war to tilt the Western Province to the ruling party in 2016 had not been lost completely.

“We don’t want the development of maize distribution,” Mutelo said in an interview after he was declared winner of the by-election. “When the President came here he said ‘are you not ashamed?’ Who is in the driving seat? The question is, is PF not ashamed…to chase a little boy with choppers?”

Mutelo said the Lukulu West by-election was a waste of resources that could have been used to develop rural areas like Mitete.
