PF Cautions ‘Rejected’ Taima

A Patriotic Front official on the Copperbelt Chanda Kabwe has cautioned rejected defector Richard Taima against issuing careless statements ahead of the Solwezi East by-election which the former Movement for Multi-Party Democracy lawmaker created.

Taima quit MMD to join the ruling PF but was not adopted by the ruling party who settled for Peter Ilunga. Taima told the PF aligned Post Newspaper that he feels dribbled after the PF leadership who convinced him to quit parliament ignored his candidature.

Taima also said the PF was finding it hard to campaign in Solwezi East after it ignored him ahead of the July 25 by-elections.

But Kabwe warned Taima against issuing such statements saying they were careless and unfounded.

Kabwe claims the ruling party was enjoying massive support in Solwezi East where he further claims it will record a landslide victory.
