Democratic Assembly (DA) president Maxwell Mwamba has descried the relationship between President Robert Mugabe and President Micheal Sata, a relationship he termed as unholy alliance.

“The dangerous aspect of this relationship is that our president(Sata) wants to feel himself to overflowing with the character of Robert Mugabe who is clearly an autocratic and a well known dictator.
He said President Sata admires Mugabe so much that he even copied Robert  Mugabe’s patriotic front and also the rised symbol of Robert’s crunched fist and adopted it as his own.
“I wonder what elese he wants to copy from Mugabe because Mugabe suffers from Wamuyaya syndrome,” he said.
Mwamba added that the passivity of the Zimbabweans cannot be visited upon the Zambian people.
“We are alive to the fact that he is  creating by-elections  to necessitate gaining more power in parliament to further entrench his superiority, it must be noted that the PF won the 2011 general elections by a small magine of 180 votes this was a vote in default, meaning Zambians were faced with a situation where MMD had overstayed in power and also there were infidelity against them so the people had decided to look for someone  to vote for and PF provided a more attractive stand based on the promises which  have proved to be false,” he said.
