Mutesa hails Sata’s willingness to dialogue

Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) president Fred Mutesa has described Republican President Michael Sata’s willingness to dialogue with opposition political parties as a fresh start to Zambia’s political unity.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm News, Dr. Mutesa says opposition political parties should therefore cease this opportunity to iron out their differences with the ruling Patriotic Front.

He says the interests of Zambians should be above partisan politics and that all political leaders should strive to promote unity through inter-party dialogue.

Dr.Mutesa has also urged President Sata to act according to his pronouncements and ensure that every Zambian is accorded an opportunity to be heard.

President Sata recently said State House remains open to accept and engage any person, including the opposition as long as they follow the right procedure and their motives are clear.
