MUSA MWENYE SWORN IN AS ZAMBIA’S ATTORNEY GENERAL

LUSAKA, July 31 – President Michael Sata has sworn in Musa Mwenye AS Zambia’s new Attorney-General and Abraham Mwansa as Solicitor-General.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony at State House Lusaka Wednesday, the President congratulated the two and encouraged them to work in the interest of the Zambian people.

The swearing in ceremony was attended by Minister of Defence Edgar Lungu, Minister of Information Joseph Katema and Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba.

Also present were Director of Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito, Secretary to the Cabinet Roland Msiska, Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet Peter Kasanda, Public Service Commission chairperson Kawaye Kamanga and Ministry of Justice Permanent Secretary Joseph Kafumba.
