MMD, UPND must not take Zambians’ for granted – Luonde

THE MMD and UPND must not take the patience of Zambians for granted, says Fr Richard Luonde.

Fr Luonde said that the opposition must stand by its principles when taking positions on national matters.

Fr Luonde said he was surprised by the pressure being mounted on the PF by the opposition regarding the position it had taken on some national issues.

“What I don’t accept is a situation where you are in office and when people complain about certain underwritings in the Constitution, for 20 years you keep saying ‘no, everything is okay’, but a year and a half after another party takes over, you begin to pressure them to change that which you failed to change in 20 years. That is unfair and unacceptable,” Fr Luonde said.
