MMDA Victory Ministries International Church Pastor and opposition MMD President Nevers Mumba has strongly condemned the irate mob justice of John Laing compound who set ablaze a suspected bandit on Monday, this week.

Speaking in an interview with ZANIS yesterday, he stated that the mob should have avoided breaking the rule of law but instead they should have allowed the police to handle the situation.

He said the courts and the police are there to handle such matters and exist to bring justice and peace to the nation.

Dr Mumba appealed to Zambians to report such cases to the police who have the sole responsibility of apprehending the suspects.
