Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Zambian Chapter, a body of Independent Journalists has elected new members to serve in the National Governing Council (NGC) at the Annual General Meeting held at Palmwood Lodge in Lusaka.

Nalumino Nalumino who was Acting as Chairman has been elected in the same position beating his contender Mutemwa Makomani a Lecturer at Evelyn Hone College. Nalumino who is a Station Manager at Radio Maranatha polled 68 votes against Makomani who only managed nine votes.

The Vice Chairperson position was scooped by Hellen Mwale a Reporter at Daily Nation Newspaper  who stood against Freelancer Journalist John Chola.

The NGC has three Committee Members and those elected to serve are Elizabeth M. Chola, Roy Clarke, and Wilson Pondamali.
