Minister Masumba convicted, locked-up for forging a certificate

Sports Deputy Minister Steven Masumba has been locked-up after he was convicted Monday morning by the Lusaka Magistrate Court, according to Hot FM Radio.

Masumba who is also the ruling Patriotic Front Member of Parliament for Mufumbwe in North Western province will be remanded in Police custody until Wednesday when the Magistrate will sentence him.

This is in a case Masumba was under trial on one count of obtaining pecuniary advantage by false pretenses in the case in which he was accused of forging a certificate from National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA).
