Krachi East: Mr Charles Gyamfi Boateng, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi East Municipality, has appealed to his constituents to give Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), a chance to transform Ghana. He emphasised that Dr Bawumia's leadership would bring about significant positive change in Ghana and urged citizens to give him the opportunity to lead the country. The MCE said Dr Bawumia possessed the vision and leadership qualities necessary to transform Ghana if he's elected on December 7 election.According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Boateng made these remarks while inaugurating an ultra-modern maternity ward at Njari, a suburb of Krachi East. Mr Boateng highlighted some notable achievements executed in the community through Mr Michael Yaw Gyato, the parliamentary candidate of the NPP, such as the road network, education, electricity, Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS), and the maternity ward. He urged residents to vote for both Dr Bawumia, the pr esidential candidate, and the parliamentary candidate to bring development in the area.Deputy Superintendent of prison (DSP) Mr Daniel Machator (Rtd), the Oti Regional Minister addressing them said, voting for both Dr Bawumia and Mr Gyato, residents could help ensure that the area receives the necessary support and resources to drive growth and improvement. He elaborated on the NPP government's efforts in creating the Oti Region and implementing various developmental projects, he highlighted the government's commitment to providing essential infrastructure, including roads, schools, and healthcare facilities.One notable initiative mentioned by Mr Machator was the District Roads Improvement Programme (DRIP), which aimed to improve the road network in the region. Nana Kofi Kasewei, Amankrado of Njari, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MCE and Regional Minister for their efforts in recognising the Njari community specifically, they provided the community with a much-needed maternity ward which wou ld undoubtedly improve healthcare services for the residents.On behalf of the community, he thanked the government for the development projects they have brought to Njari. As the nation prepares to head to the polls on Saturday, Nana Kasewei urged residents to remember the party that has consistently delivered development to their area.
