A youth activist in Luanshya has described President Michael Sata ‘s speech during the official opening of Parliament on September 20, 2013 as inspiring.

Micheal Chewe who is also an Entrepreneur says President Sata’ss speech gave hope to many unemployed youths, especially where he tackled about job creation for youths in the country.

“ You can clearly tell that President Sata is a patriot who is really committed to seeing that poverty levels in the country are brought down,” said Chewe.

Chewe further hailed President Sata for planning to build more vocation centres where Youths can learn skills that will make them more productive and useful to the nation.

“There is need for Youths to be equipped if this country can move forward, we have seen the President has already demonstrated this, he has already started concentrating Universities this is very good,” he said.

And another resident Kelvin Daka said if the speech by the President sounded good, if only what he said can be implemented.

“ We know the PF is good at making pronouncements, I would want to see the PF build more houses in the country, just like the President  said that there was a housing deficit in the country, I would be happy to see government build houses especially for young people,” he said.
