Kenyan Security Forces Work to End Deadly Mall Attack

Kenyan security forces are continuing to work to apprehend gunmen who killed at least 39 people and wounded more than 150 others at a busy shopping mall in Nairobi.

Officials said the operation to capture the gunmen and rescue an unknown number of hostages was still ongoing midday Sunday inside the Westgate Mall, about 24 hours after the attack began.

Fierce gunfire broke out at the site Sunday morning, and two wounded soldiers were carried out of the mall.
