Kambwili calls to a stop of endorsement

Wrangles in the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has deepened with youths from rival factions clashing in Lusaka on Saturday August 31, 2013.

The rival groups clashed over the ‘endorsement’ of President Michael Sata as the sole candidate for the 2016 polls.

PF Ngwerere ward 19 councillor, Christopher Shakafuswa was in the process attacked and had his vehicle’s rear screen smashed.

Shakafuswa bemoaned what he termed thuggery attacks by PF youths.

Meanwhile PF national youth chairperson, Chishimba Kambwili has also expressed concerns at the behaviour of the youths who clashed among themselves in Lusaka.

Kambwili has warned that the party will follow up the matter and bring to book culprits.

Kambwili who is also Youth Minister has since called for the stop of the endorsements campaigns which he said is causing division in the party.
