Kabimba toasts PF Kapiri victory

THE UPND’s life expectancy is diminishing by the day and their chances of survivor keep reducing, says Wynter Kabimba.

And the UPND scooped the Lukulu West seat with its candidate Misheck Mutelo polling 3,894 votes against the PF’s Eileen Imbwae’s 1,896 votes. ULP’s Maybin Sikwa polled 61 votes.

Commenting on the PF’s victory in the Kapiri Mposhi by-election, Kabimba who is PF secretary general and justice minister, said if the opposition were not careful, by 2016, there would be no UPND to talk about.

“The UPND is still inclined to these ethnic enclaves but the PF is breaking these barriers and that is what differentiates the PF from UPND. Our life expectancy as a party can be seen through election results like the Kapiri Mposhi one,” Kabimba said.

He said the election results in Kapiri Mposhi had shown that the PF was “here to stay for a long time” and that the party was growing.
