Kabimba leads PF delegation to African political parties conference in Sudan

MINISTER of Justice Wynter Kabimba says one of the difficulties with African governments is their concentration on government-to-government relations.

Kabimba, who is leading the PF delegation to the first-ever African political parties conference in Khartoum, Sudan, said bilateral relations between governments in most instances ignored the party-to-party, which is a people-to-people relation.

“The conference fits into our party programme to create a big network, and so far 46 countries have confirmed participation and the major role is to engage as political parties on the possibilities of forging our relationship,” Kabimba said.

“I didn’t know that it (the conference) was my brainchild because in 2012, I was invited by African diplomats accredited to Zambia to speak to them, where I said one of the difficulties with African governments was the concentration of government-to-government relations ignoring the party to party which is a people to people relation.
