I will not seek costs from over stressed State coffers – HH

Leader of the opposition UPND Hakainde Hichilema says he will not seek for costs from the already over stressed state coffers on President Michael Sata’s defamation case which the state dropped Tuesday.

The State today, April 9, 2013 entered a nolle prosequi on the case Hichilema was being tried in court for defaming President Sata. Lusaka Magistrate Boniface Mwiinga revealed when the matter came up that the State had decided to stop the case.

Hichilema was accused of having defamed Sata in January 13, 2013 after he said the President dubiously stopped the corruption probe involving Ministers – Wynter Kabimba and Geophrey Mwamba.
