I have no regret saying PF is tribal – Kabimba

Patriotic Front General Secretary and Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba has maintained that there are tribal elements in the ruling party wanting to hound him out.

The PF General Secretary says he has no regrets for telling the nation that there was a clique of tribalists within PF that were behind protests to get him out of the party. He said he was naïve to think that PF was not tribal adding that he has now discovered that PF was more tribal than the other parties it was accusing of tribalism.

Despite condemnation, Kabimba says he will not be swayed to apologize. He explained that he has evidence of what he has said where money was delivered to certain parts of the country to pay protesters.

Kabimba alleged that money was delivered to Choma, Kasama and the Copperbelt. He said he has evidence to this effect and some people to testify.

Meanwhile, Deputy General Secretary Bridget Attanga has confirmed receiving a letter from Mandevu Member of Parliament Jean Kapata asking the party to discipline Kabimba. But Attanga said she has advised her to write to the party president, Michael Sata or Disciplinary Committee Chairman Edgar Lungu
