Newly appointed Commerce deputy Minister Richwell Siamunene says he will be pleased to be expelled from the UPND for striving to take development to Sinazongwe district.

Mr Siamunene says his decision to accept the appointment in the PF government is purely to propel development in Sinazongwe district.

He says he would rather be out of Parliament than see the people he represent suffering.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. Siamunene has however conceded that he does not expect his relationship with the UPND to be the same as before.

The Sinazongwe Parliamentarian says he is happy now that he has the capacity to initiate and execute development projects in Sinazongwe stating that his ultimate goal is to transform the lives of the people in his constituency.

He says the people of Sinazongwe have been aspiring for development to be taken to the area.
