HH to address a rally in Mandevu

The opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) will this Sunday hold a public rally in Lusaka’s Mandevu Township.

UPND announced on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 that the Zambia Police has since okayed the planned rally which will be addressed by its leader Hakainde Hichilema and members of the party’s National Management (NMC).

“”Colleagues we are pleased to announce that the UPND rally in Mandevu, Lusaka has been given a go ahead by Zambia Police,” UPND said Wednesday in a statement. “The rally will be held on Sunday 6th October 2013 starting at 10:00 hours.”

The rally will start at 10:00 hours. The Zambia Police has been denning the opposition from hold public rallies for the last two years the PF has been in government.
