First flight from Frankfurt with 167 passengers on board arrives in Monastir

The first non-scheduled flight of German airline “Eurowings Discover” from Frankfurt, Germany landed, on Wednesday at Monastir-Habib Bourguiba International Airport, with 167 passengers on board. Acting director of Monastir International Airport, Adel Megao, told TAP a non-scheduled weekly flight will be scheduled to ensure the connection between Frankfurt and Monastir on board the company owned by “Lufthansa”, before increasing this frequency to two weekly flights as of May 22. Monastir-Habib Bourguiba International Airport will see an increase of 20% in terms of the number of travelers, compared to 2022, the same source stressed, expressing hope to return to the figures of 2019, a reference year, with a traffic of more than one million 500 passengers.
