Fear grips UPND in Lukulu

Results from Lukulu West were by 1pm local time not yet officially announced raising concerns from the opposition UPND who claim that they have won the seat and PF wants to manipulate the results.
But results from 17 polling stations according Radio QFM showed that the UPND candidate Misheke Mutelo was leading with 1.748 votes with Eleen Imbwae following with 997 votes while the United Liberal Party’s Mubita Sikwa trialed with 38 votes.
UPND says they have won the seat claiming that there are maneuvers to rig the poll in constituency which PF fought hard to increase numbers from two the current two in Parliament.
In Kapiri Mposhi the PF candidate Eddie Musonda is winner after polling 6, 343 with UPND’s Lawrence Zimba receiving 5, 256 votes with results from one remaining polling station being awaited.
