FAZ reduces entry charges for Zambia’s World Cup games

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has slashed the gate charges for Zambia’s World Cup qualifying games in June.

FAZ spokesperson, Erick Mwanza said the decision was taken to afford more fans watch the game and support the team during the crucial world cup qualifiers. He said FAZ wants the support of many fans to cheer the team and motivate them into getting positive result.

He has further encouraged the fans to buy the tickets in designated places in Lusaka and on the Copperbelt warning them not to get the tickets on the streets. He said buying from the streets risks landing them in trouble.

Mwanza who was speaking at briefing on Wednesday, May 22, 2013  further encouraged the team to put on the orange replica and paint the stadium in orange.

The Northern and Southern Wing have been peaked at Kr20, Eastern Upper Deck Kr50, Eastern Lower Deck Kr100, Western Upper Deck Kr100, Western Lower Deck Kr150.

VIP will be Kr 500.

Zambia faces Lesotho and Sudan in the crucial encounter in June at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Zambia is leading its world cup group with seven points while Ghana is second on 6 Lesotho has 2 points and Sudan is at the bottom with only a point.
