Patriotic Front (PF) Mpongwe Member of Parliament Gabriel Namulambe has been irritated by Maxwel Tonga, one of his friends on Facebook who told him to honor the campaign promises.

Tonga who posted a comment on a profile picture of Namulambe in his tomato field where the PF MP said it is the tomatoes that gave him money said he wanted him to honor promises.

Tonga commented: “(The) issue is to honor your campaign promises with due respect….”

But the comment seem not to have gone well with the MP who received good comments on the same photo about his tomatoes.

Namulambe responded: “Maxwel Tonga what has tomato got to do with campaign promises? Don’t exhibit hatred for nothing. Am not that dull.”

This happened Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the evening between 8pm and 11pm.

Namulambe has been appointed as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs after he dished MMD to join PF and retained his seat on the ruling party’s ticket. He served as a senior Minister under Levy Mwanawasa and Rupiah Banda. Before leaving MMD, he also served as Chairman for Campaigns in the party’s National Executive Committee.
