Ethiopian Airlines starts weekly flights to Ndola

ETHIOPIAN Airlines will today commence three weekly flights to Ndola.

Ndola will be the airline’s 45th African and the 72nd international destination.

According to a press release yesterday, Ethiopian Airlines CEO Tewolde Gebremariam said the reason for introducing the flights to Ndola was a continuation of the airline’s efforts to achieve the goal of connecting Africa to the world by adding multiple points in Africa and serving the air connectivity needs of the continent.

He said the flights would be on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

“Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing African Airline, is proud to announce that it will commence thrice weekly flight to Ndola, Zambia effective 31 March, 2013. We are proud to add Ndola to Ethiopian wide route network,” he stated.

Gebremariam said Ndola was a strategically positioned place to introduce the flights because it was an industrial and commercial centre in the Copperbelt Province.
