Embrace forgiveness this Easter, Bishop Mulenga urges politicians

KABWE Diocese Bishop Clement Mulenga says the country’s political leaders should use the Easter season as a time to stop being vindictive but do things that will benefit the country.

And Bishop Mulenga says the faithful undergoing suffering now should realise that problems do not last indefinitely.

Bishop Mulenga said today is a great day for Christians and he urged the country’s political leaders to put aside their differences and attain a new personality.

“I think for our political leaders the message is that it might be hard but at the same time I think it is simple, to look at Jesus who is the Master, the leader of everybody, anyway and all the leaders are supposed to participate in the leadership of Jesus Christ himself and it is one of forgiveness,” Bishop Mulenga said in an interview yesterday.
