Dr Kaseba receives a donation from SP

First Lady Dr CHRISTINE KASEBA says there is need for government and other stakeholders to partner and support over one hundred thousand orphans in the country.
Dr KASEBA says government alone can not sustain the need of vulnerable women and children across the country.
The First Lady said this when she received three thousand blankets and jerseys for children from the Sharpooji Pallonji (SP)group of companies from India at State House on July 3,2013.
Dr KASEBA said government has various programmes aimed at supporting women and children but there is need for support from the private sector and donor organisation.
Handing over the donation IYER KUPPUSWAMY said the donation of the blankets and jerseys is in fulfillment of the wish of a 16 year old daughter of the owner of the Indian owned company who wants to help vulnerable children in Africa.
