Zambia for Empowerment and Development (ZED) spokesperson Derrick Sikwilala has urged the PF government not to treat the constitution making process as a government venture but as a public venture.

Sikwilala said the constitution should not just end up at the hands of the Head of State, but that every Zambian should be given an opportunity to look at the final copy of the constitution.

“Wynter Kabimba should not bulldoze the constitution making process, we expect the PF government to deliver a people driven constitution,” he said.

He added that Zambians were anxiously waiting to have a new constitution adding that people were not expecting any delays in delivering the constitution by the PF government.
