Divers Recover More Bodies From Sunken Migrant Ship

Divers have pulled another 17 bodies from the ship packed with African migrants that sunk near the Italian island of Lampedusa.

A total of 211 bodies have now been pulled from the ship, which capsized and sunk last Thursday in one of Italy’s worst maritime disasters.

The boat was carrying as many as 500 people, mostly Eritrean and Somali migrants, part of a wave of African migrants trying to reach European territory. Only 155 survivors were rescued.
