Diplomats fired by PF not been paid

Veteran Politician, Vernon Mwaanga says a number of diplomats who were relieved of their duties after the Patriotic Front (PF) government came to power have not been paid their terminal benefits.
Mwaanga who was speaking on a ZNBC programme Sunday evening dubbed ‘Sunday Interview’ said the former diplomats have complained to him and have also been frequenting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to claim their money.
He observed that this was not good for the nation stating that the PF also erred in dismissing the diplomats at once because it affected international relations as most of them had experience.
The current MMD President Nevers Mumba is among the diplomats who were dismissed when the PF came into office in 2011.
