Despite lack of funds, we may pull a surprise in Katuba – Fr. Bwalya

Frank Bwalya says his Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ)candidate is doing well in the campaigns ahead of Katuba by-election.
Fr. Bwalya says his party may just pull a surprise and win its first seat in Katuba when polls take place February 25. He says ABZ has been holding successful meetings.
“Where others are failing to have successful meetings in Katuba, ABZ is doing it. On Wednesday we had a successful well attended rally in Chilo caba Lenje,” Fr. Bwalya said. “People braved the rains. We were soaked. I played football with bare feet just like some of the people there. I even scored a superb penalty. Our candidate played netball. I joined netball too. On Friday we had another successful meeting at Kapila in Katuba ward. So far we think that we are doing fine.”
Fr. Bwalya however says his party has a challenge with finances to organize more meetings.
The only drawback is funds to have many meetings. Otherwise, we may pull a surprise. If another Opposition Party gets it, we shall be happy,” said Fr. Bwalya in his facebook update around 1am on Sunday.
Seven candidates are contesting the Katuba by-election that fell vacant after the death of Dr. Patrick Chikusu of MMD.
