DEC arrests 20 Zambian Rastas on their way to a Peter Toshi concert

Twenty Rastafarian have been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) for trafficking in cannabis.

The twenty who included juveniles as young as 13 years old were apprehended  at a check point mounted on Mungwi Road on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

The Rastafarians were on the way to attend a Memorial Music concert of late veteran Reggae artist Peter Toshi which was held in Lusaka.

The development has been confirmed by DEC Spokesperson Samuel Silomba today, September 18, 2013.
