Church Mother Body advise Sata against humiliating Ministers in public

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has advised the President to avoid public humiliation of Ministers.

EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has told Qfm that the admonishment of Ministers should be done in-house away from the public eye.

Rev Mwanza notes that if the ministers continue to be rebuked and belittled in the public the level of respect from their juniors will reduce.

He adds that the continued castigation of Ministers in public has the potential to affect their performance negatively.

Reverend Mwanza further states that rebuking government officials in public sends a message to the public that government is not working in one accord, hence the need to discuss such issues such issues away from the public.

He says the President as the primary supervisor should ensure that his ministers do the right thing, adding that the government as a whole should provide leadership and inspiration the people of Zambia with their leadership and language.
