Chopper in an emergency landing with journalists covering Vice president

A helicopter carrying journalists accompanying Vice president Guy Scott is reportedly to have had an emergency landing in Kabwe on the Central province.

Information reaching us is that the chopper had an emergency landing behind a Barrack in Kabwe this morning on its way to the Copperbelt province. No injury has been sustained and the Zambia Air Force is said to have sent another Chopper to carry the journalists.

The Vice president is already in Ndola and is expected to go to Mpongwe to drum up support for the PF candidate ahead of the February 28, 2013 by-election.

Last week on Saturday again two cars in the Vice president’s convoy were involved in an accident in Livingstone on Airport Road after coming to welcome him.
