Chipolopolo finally departs for Kumasi, Ghana

The Zambian National Football Team this morning, Thursday September 5, managed to fly out to Kumasi, Ghana in a chartered plane for Friday’s World Cup qualifier against that country.

The plane departed Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 8:30am local time.

The Team failed to fly out to Ghana on Wednesday and some players who were already in a plane disembarked after authorities in that country said their aircraft could not land in Kumasi, the venue for the game.
