Cattle disease breaks out in Choma

Unknown cattle disease has broken out in Choma district of Southern Province.

Choma Member of Parliament, Cornelius Mweetwa said a number of livestock have since died following the out break of the named cattle disease.

Mweetwa said the disease which broke out in Batoka area is causing serious problems to the animals and the livestock farmers.
He has since appealed to government to intervene before the animals are wiped out.

He explains that the disease is causing dizzines in the animals among other symptoms which results in death of the animals.

Southern Province has one of the largest population of livestocks especially cattle in the country.
