Bubbly under-17 off to SA | soccer team

soccer teamTHE national under-17 national soccer team yesterday left for South Africa with coach Osward Mutapa bubbling with confidence that his charges will beat the hosts in this Saturday’s 2013 Africa Junior Championship first leg qualifier match.
Zambia will play South Africa at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, the home ground of giants Orlando Pirates.
Mutapa said in an interview in Lusaka before the team’s departure to Johannesburg that the junior Chipolopolo are adequately prepared for the first leg encounter.
“Our target is to qualify for the African championship finals so we have no option but to get a positive result in the first leg that will give us a slight advantage in the return match,” he said.
