Nana Ahenkan II, who is also the Kontihene of the Wiawso Traditional Council made the call to climax this year's Elluo Festival, on the theme, 'Creating a Peaceful Atmosphere for the 2024 Election before, during and after, the role of traditional leaders.' Nana Ahenkan also entreated Ghanaians to take lessons from war-torn countries and ensure that peace prevailed before and after the December polls. Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who represented the former President Mr. John Dram ani Mahama, as the guest speaker, called for transparent electoral process since that was the only way to ensure Peace before, during and after the election.
