Belgium’s new ambassador arrives in Beirut

Newly appointed Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Hubert Cooreman, arrived Saturday at Rafic Hariri International Airport to assume his duties after presenting his credentials to the Lebanese authorities.

Greeted at the Airport by Lebanese Foreign Ministry Representative Mustapha Ghaith and senior Embassy staff, Cooreman said he was pleased to be in Beirut.

Prior to assuming his diplomatic mission in Lebanon, Ambassador Cooreman was serving in Pretoria, Africa.
