Another setback for Manchester United at home

Manchester United has again suffered a major set back in their home ground after Fulham equalized in the 94th minute reports Chimuka Moono Hanyama.

United who controlled the pace and possession of the match from the start went down in the 19th minute when Sidwell sneaked behind Vidic to beat De Gea. The match ended in Fulham’s favour at half-time with Manchester threatening to equalize.

After half-time, Manchester equalized through Van Persie who converted a good lay-off from Juan Mata. After two minutes, Carrick netted another one, giving a lead to Manchester United.

However, while controlling the match so well, Manchester was stung in the 94th minute when the unmarked Bent comfortably put down the remains of De Gea’s successful save! Since both teams had pressure to win this match, it appears they have shared the spoil to their benefit, though a win for Manchester United would have helped maintain their move to a place in the Champions League next season, while a win for Fulham would have given them a step out of relegation zone. Manchester now faces the leaders Arsenal on Wednesday while Fulham is meeting the thrashing Liverpool.

Earlier on in the day, Everton went down a goal to nill to Tottenham when Adebayor converted an easy one.
