Angolan and Zambian Police Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The police forces of Angola and Zambia signed on Friday in Luanda a “Memorandum of Understanding” on cooperation in staff training and information exchange.

Signed the agreement, the director of the Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences, Commissioner Alberto SebastiAPound o Mendes, while the Zambian part, did the Director of Training of the Zambia Police Service, Deputy Commissioner Charles Mbita.

The memorandum provides for the training of Zambian police at the Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences in Luanda, from November of the current year, as well as training in the areas of cavalry and course on dog training and pilots.

The act was witnessed by the Zambian ambassador to Angola, Barbara Chilangwa, and the second general commander of the National Police, chief commissioner Paulo de Almeida.

On the occasion, the diplomat said that the Zambian signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on police confirms the strong relationship and friendship between the two countries and peoples.
