UNACA WANTS ZAMBIAN TO INVEST IN AGRICULTURE

LUENA, The chairperson of the National Peasants Union of Angola (UNACA), Tomas Cashimbi Inacio, suggestedfor Zambian businesspeople to invest in the local agriculture due to their experience in this sector.

Speaking to Angop after the visit paid to Moxico province by Zambian businesspeople, the official underscored that Zambia has a lot of experience in the cereal production by using agricultural high technology, which could be an added value to boost the local activity.

The UNACA also seek Zambian investors to bet on the creation of small sized dairy by-products manufacturer a sector where this country has a lot of experience.

Tomas Inacio assured that the local peasants are organized in associations and cooperatives with legalized lands, which would facilitate partnership with foreign people.

The visit of Zambian businesspeople ended on Thursday after three days of intense contacts and identification of areas for investments including visits paid to the sectors of geology, mining, industry, hotels, trade and agriculture, among others.
